This Book Series, was intended to make conceptual and interesting book covers
of several of John Steinbeck's work while being recognizable as an series.
To create book covers that could stay true to the book story and themes, while also connecting them. I followed the concept of splitting or separating objects apart. As
an means of getting down to the themes of nitty gritty of what these stories mean
and represent.
East Of Eden: An story featuring an troubled family through generations, their bonds rotting away. Families are often represented by family trees. When trees rot, mushrooms grow on them.
Of Mice and Men: An character of the story Lenny, whom is villianized and
misunderstood due to this condition, and is consistently hunted down by people,
like rabbits.
Grape of Wrath: An family whom become homeless during the great depression are left
to wander across America. They are displaced, so the work boots are angled to be so
as well.
